Best chips in Leiden. Freshly cut chips and double fry method, nothing can beat that. It’s located in the centre so pretty easy to find while walking around Leiden. They offer a wide range of sauces, it’s typical for any chip shop in the Netherlands. I’d definitely come back for more chips

Went here a while ago but feel like a retroactive review is necessary. I say this because as I write this I am sitting in a bar in Stockholm, Sweden eating some very generic fries and genuinely contemplating taking a train from the city, walk to the shuttle bus stop, bus to the airport, flight to Amsterdam, train to Leiden, and then a home stretch walk to go get some of the best satay sauce and fries I have ever had. TL;DR definitely worth an afternoon snack for your day trip to Leiden as you will still be thinking of how good these fries were a year later every time you have a bar snack.
Great fresh fries, great sauces, excellent saté sauce (peanut sauce) and plenty of room. Friendly customer focused service. Three thumbs up.
