What's really cool about this place is that they sell post cards and they'll let you post them from there at a date of your choosing. I've never seen anything like it and it's definitely very cool, especially for tourists. Was not too excited by the cakes or the hot chocolate milk. I don't know about their sandwiches, they may be better. But I wouldn't recommend them for their cakes (tried 2).

A cozy hidden place in the city centre. Great place for a cup of coffee, a piece of pie or a lunch. Inside you can sit upstairs for a talk or hide away under the stairs for a nice place to get some work done. Friendly staff and when the sun is out a perfect place to sit outside! Don't forget to check all the available cards you can sent to you friends and family everybody love to get a card in the mail.
Cozy place for breakfast, especially in sunny days when you can stay outside. Very nice the postcard game they have (discover!). Strongly recommended!
This is such a cute café! I love that you can select the date you want your postcard to be sent out. Great coffee, great apple pie, lovely café and the option to sit outside. I just wish they had more leiden or Dutch themed Postcards
A wonderful secret place right by the canal. Their carrot and apple cakes are divine, and coffee is really good. You can pick your postcards (the selection is really big!) and post them directly from here. The downside is that the Wifi is a bit spotty, and you cannot work on your laptop there in the weekends though.

In love with this place! You can not only get coffee here, but also send a postcard on the day you select (e.g. a year from today). Super cute!
