Nice bar with golden oldies music. Cocktails we're good too

Wonderful cocktail bar, but loses a star because it is apparently now closed. I tried to go there in July 2019, and called the mobile contact number when I found out not open. The owner answered and said he sold the place two months ago, but had not yet updated the website to this effect.
Intimate ambiance and great service! Wonderful cocktails, and the perfect place for an evening out. The drinks are hand crafted with care and some of the tastiest creations.
At first sight the cocktail seems a little small but the love and work that's in it.. amazing. Taste is absolutely stunning. Best cocktail I've had in a long time!
This is a review of two halves: 1. The cocktails that we ordered (and got) were really very good. 2. But having to wait 45 minutes for the second round dumps this rather lovely looking place in to the category of 'possibly the worst cocktail bar' I've ever been in Finally, the arrogant barman reslky annoyed me as he tried to rush us through ordering... in a way understandable as he was having to mske drinks for 50 people all by himself. In short, great drinks, nice vibe... but not enough staff to even run the bar properly with a quarter of the visitors.
Nice place to have a cocktail, the cocktails there are a bit strong so you better be ready for that, not expensive (cocktails are luxury drinks anyways)
We went to this bar after reading about it in Leiden for Foodies. We were there midweek, so there weren't many customers. Had a great time talking with the owner. He is very knowledgeable and will make what ever you are interested in trying. By Bay Area standards, the prices are extremely reasonable (OK, cheap). There are not many cocktail bars in the Netherlands, but this is one you should absolutely go to if you are in or near Leiden.
Excellent Cocktails! Barkeeper knows his work. Good drinks and fitting atmosphere are the reasons to visit this bar.
