I have bought numerous flooring items from them. They are honest and give superb advice and there are no pushy salesman. We had a delay in the painter coming to do the skirtings and they were not finished by the time the carpets arrived. At no extra cost and without being asked they offered to reschedule the fitting. Their Amtico range is amazing and their fitter is a total perfectionist. Their prices are very reasonable and as for customer service, they won't be beaten.

Carpet and stairs we’re great. Not so great experience with the Amtico floor and customer service. Some issues with orders in that enough vinyl flooring was not ordered and carpet was incorrectly ordered such that patterns did not line up. This did cause some delays but was offered some discount on a new order. Post installation after a year had some issues with staples pushing up causing cracks/marks in the flooring. Those were replaced promptly. Worth pointing out we did have an issue with a slight \curve\ in the middle of the room, and that fix was not made due to significant rework required. Was told by Michael John customer service that issues like this are expected with Amtico installations due to minor imperfections and/or movement of sub-flooring. I was informed by several fitters that preparation should account for this though. This was not mentioned before purchase, I felt it should have been since the significant sums involved. Used a amtico approved fitter in Hinckley and the quality of installation and customer service was far superior. So much more time on getting the prep right, feathering was done (not done with Michael John to save time probably) and there were no large gaps between tiles and no staples coming through. It’s clear not that Michael John took short cuts. Are awaiting Amtico and Michael John to get back to me regarding thus. It’s been nearly 5 months now and not heard from anyone.
