A fantastic shopping experience.
We normally like using Costco. My Asian wife was in the Costco Thurmaston store today, Friday 23rd October 2020 and became very concerned about the number of people, sadly, predominantly but not exclusively ethnic Asians, who were walking into and around the store with the compulsory face masks around their throats only or, over their mouths only, leaving their noses uncovered. She approached 2 members of staff separately to point out that this evidently widespread illegal behaviour was putting her and other customers at risk. One said that this had been reported to management, that some customers were exempt and that of those who were not exempt, some had been reminded of their responsibilities to keep masks on and wear them correctly. However, the store was experiencing difficulty in getting people to keep their masks on properly. The second staff member said that this was the reason that Costco had appointed \Covid Marshalls\ - who obviously were not doing their job today. Costco, please enforce your legal obligations on mask wearing and as you are required, exclude customers who refuse to meet their own legal obligations. Little wonder this Covid 19 virus is spreading so easily.
