Easily should have been five stars, but we did take the time to get a takeout order. The Buffalo oysters which we had at the table are amazing but as a takeout item Legal chose to put the salt base in the to go container and the steam from the inside of the container liquefied the salt and it turned into a puddle of salt water at the bottom about a half an inch thick coating the oysters. Normally this wouldn't be an issue I would just alert the restaurant and move on as I did, but, the hostess seemed very unaffected by this and responded with \oh I'm sorry\ and that was it. We will go back and once again enjoy probably the best lobster macaroni and cheese we have ever had.

Although I know some people say it's overrated, Legal is great and definitely worth it. I got take out, but if I ate inside the experience would have been even better! There are lots of options for seafood, but all of the seem to be good. The salmon and swordfish my group got was cooked as ordered.
Dear Management, My girlfriend and I had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant. We want to thank Brian for the hospitality and friendliness that topped our night. He was an exceptional waiter that made our night absolutely wonderful. As visitors in this wonderful city, our experience was absolutely great due to this restaurant across the street from our hotel. The food was absolutely delicious. The scrod was so good that days later I continue to be reminded of it. We want to thank this restaurant for a great night.
Lets be honest it is Legal Sea Foods so the expectation is at certain level, and harborside falls short aside from the location and view. The haddock is served at room temperature, the drinks were abysmal, and our orders were incorrect. Our party was only four people. Plenty of other restaurants that are better at that price point. I am still shocked at the how bad the drinks were.... an old fashion is a easy way to grade bar and this is only good for disinfecting cuts.
Beautiful view of Boston Harbor from Legal Seafood Harborside. The Spider Roll was unbelievably good. The Boston Scrod delicious. Great food, great drinks, spectacular view and comfortable outdoor weather made it an amazingly perfect date night!
