Nice experience at Elfstendehal. There is everyhing from cafeteria to free lockers to save your bags . However, I think the entrance ticket should include the cost of lending the skates. But in general the price is quite affordable.
Great new, ice skating place!
Had a fun time ice-skating. Didn't fall, didn't break my bones. Prices are very acceptable aswell.

Leeuwarden finally has a descent ice skating track! After years the capital city of Fryslân has a beautiful architectural ice sports centre. Besides the beautiful architecture it's interior is well designed and a real treat to the eye. As an amateur ice skater I can't judge the ice on a professional level. For the all-round/family-day-out ice skating I think the quality of the ice is very good. They also facilitate training racks for the kids. Don't forget to bring a 0,50 or 1,- coin for these racks.
