A traditional fish and chips local. Lady friendly behind the counter. A good battered sausage. Good price and fresh! Good servings ... why not order and try yourself

The best fish and chips in town hands down. The fish is cooked there and then. Tastiest fish and chips I have had for a long time and less expensive than other vendors as well so a win win. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Old reviews are old and don't apply to the friendly new management. These guys are great! A stonking mother lode of hot, satisfying chips (with salt and vinegar of course), two pieces of fresh, delicious cod and 8 chicken nuggets, all cooked before my eyes in 5 minutes, and all for 13. Total bargain! They threw in some curry sauce too. I'll definitely be back - thanks Lee's!

I was craving for some fish and chips and the reviews looked pretty decent. I was pleasantly surprised. Good quality chips and cod coated in a nice batter. It’s hard to find good quality fish and chips highly recommend. Also good price for what you get. I’m not based in the area but will make the trip worth the travel

Very, very oily. Fish was dry and not good quality. Either cooked frozen or microwaved too much. I threw half of it away and was left with a nasty taste in the mouth. Oil not changed regularly enough I think. Second time I've tried. Same experience both times. Windmill is vastly better.
