Sorted my debts with a Debt Management Plan, when no one else was interested. I could well have lost my paid for home without StepChange! An absolutely superb service! .

Step change said I owed them 400 on my current payment plan then told me to check the creditor's myself of which there was 4 and then told me that they wrongly estimated on my payment plan and that I actually owe 700 of course I was disgusted and completely disappointed in there service as they say there here to help people in debt. I feel step change failed me very badly and the people that work there are inconsiderate and rude and LAZY

Great Charity which helped us when we most needed help and received a Congratulatory card once we were debt free....................That is not the end of it though. We have been hounded and harassed by Holst Finance for 85.15 (who took over one particular debt) which Stepchange neglected to pay. After 10 months of letters and emails it transpires Stepchange missed odd amounts from the monthly payments to HFUK and consequently I've got to pay 85.15 by February 2021. I'm not a happy bunny.

Complete liars - I received an email to advise my job applications were not being progressed as they had identified others more qualified. Fair enough, I thought! But the following week I get an email from a recruitment agency about the same roles, and they were really surprised that with my experience that I hadn't progressed to an interview. Stepchange were obviously being untruthful and they call themselves a charity! This organisation is playing bad games and making it difficult for the unemployed to get a job. I think I'd rather be unemployed than work for an organisation like stepchange.
