Ridiculous queues, no restrictions on people coming in, when I decided it was too busy to stay, difficult to get out due to blocked aisles, felt it would be unsafe if needed to evacuate and meant I had to walk past the whole queue and go out an entrance. Even when not covid times, never a good experience. Overpriced, not enough staff and those there are are undertrained.

Not impressed with your customer service this morning. Though I managed to pull a heavy bag of compost down onto my trolley, when I got to the checkout at the front of the store, I was told to lift it up onto a table to be scanned. Unable to do that, I asked for assistance to carry it to my car....was told that that's no longer allowed. WHY, as in the past there has always been someone to help. So I had to return the bag to the garden section. (I left it on the trolley of course!) No apologies from the checkout assistant, and her manner was very abrupt. Will go somewhere more friendly for my compost in future!!
Went in to buy some plant pots for the garden. Unfortunately although there were a good selection, there were very few which were priced. Eventually I found an assistant but she could only give me a rough price for the pots I wanted. Had to take to the checkout to find out what each one cost. Store could do with more staff to reduce queueing at checkouts and ensure all stock is displayed and priced correctly.
When we managed to find an assistant he was very helpful and polite. We bought 2 expensive lights, the boxes looked like they had been in a warehouse for 20 years covered in very thick dust!! They must have been put on the shelf like that.
Love shopping here for all my Christmas decorations and household items. Great price. Good value for money.
