Ages Of Elegance

Social enterprise supporting local designers and makers with retail space, mentoring etc. All products in the shop are locally made and the staff are the makers themselves so you can chat about their work. Many items are one off pieces and some of the sellers even do bespoke work Everything from kids clothing to interiors, food to ethical and vegan body products clothing and accessories, bridal and artwork. Well worth popping in to treat yourself or someone else

Bent & Forged Jewellery

The shop is full of wonderful handmade products, and great for anyone looking to purchase something unique and handmade. I would certainly recommend purchasing gifts here, but as for joining the shop as an artist to sell in here I strongly suggest you \stay the heck away\! The charity that runs it has no active board, and the lady in charge of it all really lacks any social skills, and compassion. So reverts to guilty tripping, and bulling her volunteers to breaking point.

The ladies in here took me under their wing and personal shopped for me to a budget so I could get my girlfriend a wonderful set of handmade gifts! We need more of these stores around, I loved being able to chat with the artists and see the joy on their faces when I liked a piece of art and then bought it for very little money. Girlfriend was so pleased, now coming back so I can get my mum a gift or two!
