From Pennsylvania ... Patricia, our server is awesome ... as was the food ... Visited 2ce. Caesar Salad tremendous ... upon her recommendation, came back again for the special salad ... loads of greens, cheeses, carmelized pecans, BACON, etc ...and I choose the Citrus Dressing.
To paint a picture at the end of a long day and even longer week working long hours. I went to this location to pick up a order for our family as I was driving home. My wife is very understanding of the difficulties the restaurant industry has dealt during covid therefore she refuses to order delivery through a 3rd party. I walk in to prompt greeting and the young man searches for my order and finds it. I pay using debit and he asked if I would like my receipt I decline and grab my bag and head out the door at a slower then normal pace again long hour of work. As I proceed to the company van with logos and phone number plaster all over it, not to mention the hat and t-shirt I have on have the same the Manger yells from the door that the transaction was not complete. I turn and proceed back to the entrance as I approched she stepped out and showed me the receipt at arms lenght. I continue towards the entrance but stop to put my mask as I had removed it when I exited. she immediately treated me like a child and or thief saying in a rude loud tone OKAY LETS GO INSIDE! It was really insulting as I walk in I kindly went to the till and paid. As I was paying I explain that I had just gotten a new debit and possibly that was the source. She proceeded to look through me with eyes that said yeah right! Once the transaction was approved she handed me the receipt and spun around walking away without a word. I did not warrant this behavior. I did not grab the food and run, I did not enter the wrong pin, it did not say insufficient funds but yet I walked away thinking the experience was so bad that I question if I would return again. Food was as expected.
I have noticed that the quality of food being made at this location has been on a steady decline for the past few years. The food often looks like it was slapped together and the burger patties, and dry ribs are usually extremely overcooked. I was a regular customer at this location for many years before these issues began to accumulate. I have decided that after receiving this last order, I will no longer be a Boston Pizza customer.
The Great north pizza was great. Service was good. Beer was cold. Will be going back. Would recommend!
