Really friendly staff and the landlord was superb with our group who were very hungry after a long walk around Macclesfield Forest and the Peaks on the hottest day of the year so far. The chicken Thai curry was a massive hit with all those who had it. We also noticed that they either have resident Elves or Fairies. Will have to go back to find out.

Lovely food and equally great service with a gorgeous backdrop of the resovoir. Covid 19 compliant with picnic tables nearby. Will definitely be back!

Sadly I was up near here walking round Macclesfield forest during the Autumn and the Corona virus crisis. But on a better warmer day, you can imagine sitting in the sun with a pint overlooking the lakes and with a gorgeous scenery that is Langley then things probably don't get much better.
Fantastic menu equally good for vegetarians and vegans.Brie and mushroom wellington went down really well.if you have a vegan or veggie friend they will probably find it difficult to choose as there is so much good food for them. The meat options are great too. Lamb kofte were perfect, beer battered cod- perfect. Massive chicken burger perfect. Nice decor and good service too. Would definitely visit again
