We love Young Minds! Our daughter has grown so much here and enjoys it. I love hearing her talk about things that I myself didn't learn in school till I was much older. We were so happy when she put away her own bowl in the kitchen sink at home, and loves to show us how to fold towels and clothes (we didn't teach her that!). She loves to recite the Pledge of Allegiance and sing the school song at home too. The children at Young Minds learn at their pace yet are challenged, and are expected to behave. One of the things that made me decide on the school in the first place was how the Director Ms. Ashanti was proud to show me the work done by the kids in school. Their worksheets, workbooks, etc. This didn't happen in the other schools I toured - they focused on building security, discussing feelings at the beginning of the day, etc. If you're looking for an emphasis on an all round education in the Montessori method - reading, writing, independence through a variety of activities - this is indeed a great school.

We enrolled our son about 7 months ago after touring several schools, and just knew this was the one for us! My husband and I have always talked about Montessori, but also wanted to allow our son to use free play to develop social skills. This school offers both the quiet, one on one Montessori centers as well as the important free play for a young child. The staff is amazing, and extremely friendly. The communication is great, which is important when you're having to drop your child off for up to 8 hours a day! The best part is you get all of this great learning, experiences and teachers for an affordable price! I highly recommend Young Minds Montessori!
When our daughter was turning 2, we felt it was time for her to start interacting more with kids her age. We looked around many places in the Cedar Park area and finally settled on Young Minds. We speak mostly Spanish at home so we were a bit worried our daughter would have trouble initially. To our pleasant surprise the room she was placed in had Mrs. Olga. Mrs. Olga is awesome! From day one our daughter came home saying her name and was always excited about going to \school\. We have had nothing but good vibes from this place and certainly our daughter has enjoyed and learned a lot in the last few months. Our daughter has been attending Young Minds Montessori since 2016 at the age of 18 months. In the last three years my husband and I have seen our daughter excel in vocabulary, speech, and social etiquette. Ms. Ashanti and her staff are truly a blessing when it comes to child care and education. When I drop our daughter off I feel that I am leaving her with family and I can go about my day freely without that nagging thought \is she okay\. Young Minds truly recognizes quality over quantity. My family absolutely loves this school. We have 3 young children who attend ranging in various ages. We’ve been part of their family for over two years, and every teacher and employee is always INCREDIBLY nice, attentive, mindful of little minds and feelings, and extremely reliable. They constantly are thinking of the children and the schools growing needs. They’ve made recent updates to the school and added more Montessori teachers and we couldn’t be happier. Our children adore their teachers, and so do we. They want to go to school everyday! The school keeps daily logs so we know what’s going on with our kids every day. We see their work and progress daily. The school is kept very clean- big plus for us! And we can tell that the school is always thinking of fun, new, and cutting edge teaching opportunities. I value how they base their program on true Montessori work as well. We even kept our Kinder-aged child enrolled for her K school year. The director, Ms Ashanthi, is always on top of things, organized, and so helpful! We love her! They have worked with my children in wonderful ways and have demonstrated that they teach each child to their needs. My five year old is easily completing first grade lessons, my 3 year old has made leaps in her learning and handwriting, and my 18 month old is enjoying every minute of socialization and learning! Each of their writing, math, social, and reading skills have blown a away! I have 3 very different children and I love seeing the school cater to them based on their needs and personalities. We have raved about this school for years and even sent some of our personal friends here to enroll their children. We love this school so much and are grateful for what they stand for and who they are!
