As an independent, the Leamington Wine Company has a very good range of wines, but be warned, you will need deep pockets. The prices are eye watering. I went in today to buy a decent malt whisky for which I was prepared to pay around 35, only to be told that the cheapest, yes the cheapest, was 47.50. My advice would be to go to Majestic for wine (they also have very knowledgeable staff) and up the road to the corner shop on Cubbington Road, Kanikan, where you can currently pick up The Glenlivet, a renowned malt, for just 29.99. Then you can afford a decent red, for Christmas dinner, e.g. Majestic's Vinsobres, featured on Saturday Kitchen, for 14.99 and still have 2.50 left o ver.
Great selection of curated wines beers and spirits. Super friendly service everytime i visit.
Great shop. Not cheap but still great value as the wine us superb! And you get what you pay for.
Lovely little store. I have been in the past and received good service. Unfortunately, the last time I visited one assistant seemed annoyed that I was taking my time. He was not friendly, and seemed to be inconvenienced by my presence - the store had no other clients at the time. I thought at the very least I would get more information regarding the Sake I had purchased (I asked about storage as it was a gift and spent 50), but got barely a few words in return. It is a shame when a business is let down by poor customer service.
