We were here a few years ago, its not bad at all. They've put a lot of effort in...and after all it is Shetland.

Lea Gardens is the private endeavor of its passionate owners who have succeeded in turning a croft into a lush and magical wonderland. The house almost disappears among the trees, shrubs, climbers and borders, which is simply wonderful. The garden pond is another highlight. I definitely recommend visiting the garden!
A 60 north must see for locals and visitors alike. Think you can't grow trees in Shetland? Visit here and see an authentic Andean hillside with Chilean bamboos, fire bushes, lantern trees, magnificent southern beeches and a barberry not found anywhere else in the British Isles -- and much much more! Rosa has also written a fantastic book called The Impossible Garden. If you can't get to Shetland read the book!
Garden is hidden behind the house nut I've never been there eventhouw I've been few times in that house
I saw a tengmalms owl and a long-eared owl there.
