Excellent experience at Shimla. It's a little outside the centre of Lyon but definitely worth going. Some of the food items seemed a tad bit adapted to the local taste because they were less spicy than expected. But things like qeema and palak paneer were really good and felt like home. We were done eating by 8:30 but didn't realize that we were there for an extra two hours and the management was kind enough to refill our water all this time, without pressuring us into paying the bill or leaving. Will definitely visit again while I'm still in Lyon.
Lovely Indian food: naan, basmati rice, chicken curry, tandoori chicken, raïta, salad, pickles. Great atmosphere and courteous staff.

The food is quite good and the breads tooo. It is the most authentic Indian food we have had in Lyon. Even the desserts are nicely done . Indians can have special Kadak Indian tea and pakoras(beignets) highly recommended.........we had food almost 5-6 times during our stay .... Had all desserts ....... Kulfi , halwa and gulabjamun...... Yummy
