The egg soup was the best my husband and I have ever had. The server was so patient with us and our questions. The restaurant is in a great location for people watching! We had a great experience. Side note: we also ate the chicken soup and shrimp noodles which were terrific. Would recommend to a friend!
Near Rue Rivoli and not expensive with a very tasteful lunch: Duck Cantonesian Style.
Small, quiet resto - owner knows many of the locals. A good place to eat by yourself with a book. All the other diners we saw that evening came in and ate by themselves. Went on a date with my husband - not too much ambiance but very good food, huge portions and unerringly polite owner who understands customer service. Would definitely go back but just to eat good food in a simple environment rather than a 'restaurant experience'.

The food is cheap, but awful. We tried the momos, and I suspect that the ingredients weren't fresh at all. I had terrible stomach cramps after having eaten pork and shrimp momos. Also, don't order expresso, as it has a disgusting taste. Restaurant to be avoided at all costs.
Price not cheap, food is far from real chinesis. Would give only one point if was not for its good lacation
