Great place. Owner chef is a hoot. Food was outstanding. Worth going out of your way.

Wonderful food. Brought my own bottle of wine which was great!

The food was absolutely divine. Advised on wine. Matched Sauternes with Foie Gras, and a 2002 Regaillades, I think, with Fillet de Boeuf a la Bordelaise. Tempted by a Creme Brulee really tasting of Vanilla. The lady looking after us was aux petite soins, and very knowledgeable about wines. The ambiance was very cosy in tasteful recently renovated and redecorated. Give it a miss, and you will regret it.

We arrived a few minutes before opening (early booking at 12:15) with an extra person. Though the restaurant was to be fully booked, the chef and staff very graciously made room for our guest. The food was wonderful, staff and chef attentive, and offered assistance with wine selection, which was very much appreciated. Foie gras starter, lamb entrée with potatoes au gratin, monk fish entrée with roasted potatoes, pastry with praline cream and chocolate lava cake for dessert. After lunch, we watch the chef roast chestnuts on the outdoor grill, accompanied by his explanation and friendly comments. Don't miss this!

Amazing place. The food was exquisite. Service is typical French, meaning very attentive but slow. I highly recommend it.
