Amaaaaaazingggggg!!! We ordered the (perfect) and the cinnamon ice cream for dessert—THE BEST ICE CREAM I’ve had in ages. The staff is so nice, the place beautiful and we had a lovely time.
Macedoine We booked a table at the last minute based on mostly positive reviews. A previous reviewer mentioned the vegetables macedoine. Be warned - they are in every savoury dish. They also featured in my starter, the salade tiède de crevettes. This was tasty nonetheless, as was my partner's terrine pie. My lobster was chewy and served in what seemed to be gravy and mash, alongside the processed veg. His steak tasted good after he salted it, though also chewy (he ordered blue). Desserts were very old-fashioned, with my partner questioning whether his peach could be tinned. The decor is somewhat tired, as are the napkins and old cloth bread baskets. Certainly, at the price the meal cost, I was disappointed. I would not return.
A pleasant dinner at this well-established restaurant in Tours.
I went to this restaurant without a reservation, but on a quiet weekday. The restaurant was empty with many tables available inside and outside, but they refused me a table. A couple that came in minute before me, also without reservation, got one of the many tables. The restaurant was supposedly « complete » even if it was one hour before the closing time. I was so convinced she was lying to my face that I stayed closeby until closing time and there were still many places left.... Crazy!
