Love and miss being able to travel to Paris and enjoy spots like this one! It’s a built in party with wine in baby bottles and delicious fondue. Cozy tables allow you to meet fellow travelers. ( pre pandemic) it’s a hidden gem.

Let’s be clear that what you’re getting/paying for here is the experience — and not the food or drink. It’s a very novel experience where you have to literally climb over tables to be seated, and you’re served wine out of baby bottles. (Yes, actually baby bottles and not just tiny bottles like we thought people might have meant.) But there is no menu you view or one you can find online. That’s because you only have two options — cheese or meat fondu. We got cheese, which just consisted of a pot of cheese at your table and endless bread chunks to dip. But that’s it. If you opt for meat, it looked like you got beef chunks and some potatoes to cook in a pot of liquid. It’s also not endless wine like we’d read. You get one bottle (wine or other drink) included in the price, but if you order more, you pay for each additional bottle. The restaurant was quirky and had tons of graffiti all over the walls, and it was a fun atmosphere. You also get to know your table neighbors very well since you’re all packed so close together. We didn’t have reservations but showed up before they opened and waited in the line, and we got seated. Larger parties definitely want to make reservations. In the end, it definitely didn’t feel like dinner, so we had to eat something else after to feel full. But hey — at least it was a fun meal that we won’t soon forget.
I actually went there in 1998 as a study abroad participant. Apparently not much has changed, except the price which back then was like 85 francs per person, and I feel sort of certain saying that you paid for the first biberon (baby bottle,) and none thereafter. The cheese fondue was grand. The bathroom was an outdoor hole in the ground! Many great memories! Prepare for chaos and wasted
I had a great time having foudue for dinner in our first night in Paris. It's such a interesting place. It's a very narrow restaurant that has two long tables, so you better get to know you table mates! The meal came with a kit and starters, then you get a baby bottle contains two glasses of wine (which was pretty funny). We had the meat fondue( meat cubes cooked in oil) the ladies sat next to us was kind enough to share their cheese fondue (3 kinds of cheese with white wine). I like the cheese ones better to be honest. We had an awesome time talking to our table mates and share food. Their lemon sober serviced in a real lemon and was very refreshing after a heavy meal.
Great interesting dining experience, extremely attentive friendly staff, fun and delicious fondue! A must do in Paris and get ready to drink your wine from a baby bottle!
Lovely place, a bit warmer than expected. Food was good, we had the cheese and beef fondues. Place amuses you with their wine served in baby bottles, theres a lovely lady who works there, she helps you jump over the table to take your seat. She speaks perfect english. Music was missing to drown off the sound of the crowd, but its not necessary. We would go again
Very good food and a super fun atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend if you're a tourist looking for a fun dinner out in Paris. It's also a pretty short walk to the amazing views to be had at Sacre Cœur.
The first time I ate there I was a 13 years kid (1983) I came back to Paris in 1998 and first thing I did was to find again this restaurant. Since then , each time I am in Paris I go there; I took several friends and family members, and now each time one of them go to eat the fondue, they send me pictures. Merci les gars, et bon courage , je suppose que le COVID a eu raison de vos biberons.
