What a wonderful experience at Le Prince Noir! First of all, the grounds are stunning. Come early to walk around, enjoy the scenery around the restaurant. Second, the service is excellent. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and quick with your needs. Lastly, the food was incredible. One of my favorite dining experiences in Bordeaux.

Excellent atmosphere, tasty food, high end. Great service, would like to visit again
A combination of fine French dining in a modern humoristic designed restaurant. The dishes emphasize the main ingredients without covering and hiding them by complicated techniques and too many components, though obviously every single element is taken care precisely. The service is great. The waiters have deeo knowledge of the dishes and the preparation process and to foodies like us - they definitely enrich the experience by answering our questions.
Amazing cuisine, almost every dish is a piece of art. Elegant, classy, że and of best quality. Everything that you can expect from one star Michelin restaurant.
So we've been traveling all over Provence and Cote D'azur and this is probably our 5th Michelin starred restaurant. Was really looking forward to a change in food scene upon arriving in Bordeaux. Unfortunately we were quite disappointed. Everything from flavor, presentation (We sat at the table watching the servers destroy our fish and quail as they plate them) to the service was a little off. Perhaps it's because we don't speak French.
Just something you have to go experience for yourself!
Excellent restaurant. The place is beautiful. We had the surprise menu and the food was very good. Creative cooking, but respecting the nature of the ingredients. Service was very friendly and relaxed. We took the wine pairing, which was ok. I was a bit disappointed that the wine matching the main course was not a Bordeaux wine. Overall a very good dinner at the right price for the quality.
A cuisine to die for! Immaculate in every aspect. Super tasty. Super precise. A location out of a fairytale, turned into a modern space for everybody from “stiff uper lip” to not-so-grown-up children in their 40ies and 50ies. Super cool music, mostly 80ies-90ies rock. Super vivid and attentive team in the service. And on top of this, a super-nerd of a chef who at some point was playing vintage video games with our 7 years old kids. If you manage to balance all of this at the same time, you are clearly a genius! Mr. Durand, chapeau! We are in love with what you and your team are doing!
