Tiny, crowded, and loud, nowhere to sit -- but that's all part of the experience. It's like French tapas and everything I've ever tried there has been excellent. Can't wait to return.
I had a few hours in Paris, between flights to and from CDG. Enough time to visit the market in le Pré St Gervais, then have a quick lunch with a dear friend. A wonderful salad of pissenlit (blanched dandelion) with lard (bacon) and a perfectly poached egg, was followed by Saucissots with Fois Gras and Truffles, on a bed of lentils, a Tête de Veau, sauce Ravigote, served with boiled potatoes, and a half bottle of white Bourgogne. Excellent service and outstanding food, for which you could easily pay double within the péripherique.

Excellent ! Merci au chef et à toute l’équipe, nous avons passé un moment délectable, simple et convivial en nous régalant de bons plats fait maison. Je recommande le pâté de tête, les rognons de veau, les viandes ou tout simplement le menu du jour. Accueil parfait , bonne sélection de vin, bon rapport qualité/prix. Difficile de se garer donc à anticiper. D’ECO authentique brasserie d’antan, j’adore et belle vaisselle made on FRANCE ️
