Excellent veggie-friendly choice! I've been a vegetarian for almost 15 years now, so I've pretty much learned to accept the lackluster hodge-podge of side dishes that currently passes for a vegetarian plate in most restaurants... However, when I came into Le Pois Gourmand and explained my dietary convictions, I was more than just pleasantly surprised by the staff's open-minded approach. Not only were they willing to accommodate me, the chef invented a special gastronomic vegetarian dish just for me! Needless to say, I'll never forget it! Delicious food, extraordinary service... A must try in Angers!
