Actually 3.5. I can't give this 4 and won't give it 3. It's a nice, homely, local restaurant with no pretensions. We went for Sunday lunch and it was rammed with locals. Had a gizzard and duck salad which was OK. Cassoulet which was authentic, though the sausage could have been better and the stock could have been more concentrated. Pleasant cheese plate and Fitou. 59.

Small restaurant. The duck isn't worth a try, but the cassoulet is pretty good.
Reviews were great but the night we went service was very haphazard and guests at another table left as we had been served their food! To add to this two of our party of three had mild food poisoning hence we decided to leave this review. Something has gone wrong but once this is fixed I am sure it will deserve a visit.
Great Cassoulet, nice little neighbourhood restaurant. Lovely Gesiers salad as well. Good friendly service.
Chance find today whilst waiting for a boat trip on the canal du midi. The few restaurants by the quayside looked like the typical tourist traps, so we took a walk back into town and found Le Petit Gazouilli. Booked table and returned at 12.15. Decided on the 16.90 euro menu. Goose pate, entrecote and ice cream. Well worth the money paid, you certainly won't go hungry. Ribeye was cooked to perfection.

It's intimate with beautiful freshly cooked food as it should be cooked. The waitresses were so friendly and helpful. Yes yes yes!
