A very decent meal of Entrecote for 2 people. Just a shame it was not rested at all which spolied the experience - it was served on a wooden board so I had blood spilling all over the table. Service was also very slow and business-like. It felt like we were being a bit rushed through so they could get 2 sittings into the evening service.
No idea why this is so recommended. Meat was dry, service staff were rude, and beer was too expensive. They made a mistake with our order and we had to pay extra because of it as well. Very disappointing.
Location easy to find, we choose this place by coincidence and based on the google reviews. We were very pleased with the quality of the food and services. Also prices more than reasonable for the quality and taste offered. I strongly recommend in Amboise.
Great little restaurant. Reasonable price especially at lunch during the week. If you’re looking for some grilled meat place with some fancier options then you’re in luck. Wines selection is not the best but good for the prices. 4.5 the glass... in the end a good spot. Nothing special about the place itself but the food, isn’t it enough already?
Small but cosy, we had an amazing spot next to the fire which they use for cooking some of the meals. The food was great, not over expensive we had some very tasty local wine and staff very helpful and attentive. A definite go back!

Really nice food, (the meat is cooked on wood fire which is wonderful) and yhe staff is extremely nice :)
