Book ahead on Sunday nights to avoid disappointment as it seems to be the only restaurant open in Saint Claude on Sunday evening (there are still pizza and kebab options if you are stuck and have nothing to eat), this is a cosy and small place and they do only one sitting. Beware the menu is only available in French and the staff doesn't speak English. There are no easy options for vegetarian or vegan so come prepared to request what you want in French if you have any dietary requirements. About the food and experience itself. It was just fantastic. The food was excellent, traditional and simple. The place itself it's like going to your (French) grandmother's house for lunch, you feel like you are in her dining room in a way and if she has ran out of something that is on the menu, well you will just have to eat what's available. I loved it. I highly recommend this place for the food and experience, it's simple, traditional, no fuss. A lovely local restaurant like we don't see very often anymore.

Service impeccable et efficace. Tout ce que l'on attend d'un petit restaurant traditionnel servi par des propriétaires aimant leur métier. La cuisinière vient faire le tour pour savoir si tout va bien, c'est fort appréciable. Les serveurs font attention aux mesures barrières dans le cadre de la limitation de la COVID-19.

Une cuisine familiale et généreuse, un service souriant et attentif ponctué de petits \tout se passe bien ?\ comme on en fait plus.. Plat dessert du jour à 16, une bonne adresse à tester !

Pour l'instant le restaurant est fermé mais un retrait de plats préparés est proposé deux fois par semaine sur réservation. Très bonne maison.
