Lovely day, lovely lunch outside in the garden. It could have been a normal day apart from the hand sanitizer on the table and the staff wearing masks. Smaller menu, but that's not a complaint as I don't think I could have coped with too many choices. Wonderful Sunday lunch with friends.

Staying nearby and thought we'd try it. Had 3 course meals. Well presented and served, good vibe to the place. Had a drink in the bar afterwards. Very nice. Good beer SamBrookes Wandle. The guy who served us was very efficient/pleasant/attentive.

Came here for a comedy show in the open air quadrant. What a splendid location. Bar serves good beer. Nice crowd. Good comedy.

The building was sold and gradually restored by its present owners, who had to endure, among other things, a fire in the Great Hall just before it was handed over. Building works took 7 years. The building now contains flats, studios and workshops for businesses in the creative industries, a drama school and a wine bar.

Lovely architecture and a great place to enjoy the annual beer festival!
