Away from the tourist part of Montmartre, full of locals with super friendly staff and an amazing meal.

Three different prix fixe options made up of an appetizer, entree and/or dessert which is either 20 euro for two, or 25 euro for three. The appetizer and dessert combination I chose was perfect for a late meal. The sauteed mushrooms w/ shrimp was perfect served with a baguette, and the chocolate cake was deliciously moist. A small beer which I wasn't charged for was an added bonus.

The tartar appetiter was surprisingly better than what it looked like in the photo. And the fish bass was perfect in every way. The cooked pear dessert was interesting. I walked past this place so many times thinking that the outside looks like they're going to serve ordinary boring cafe food, but the food taste and food presentation was more like fine dining. Can't judge this book by its cover. Definitely will return to eat here again.
