We decided on the spur of the moment to have Chinese meal early on Sunday evening. Based on on-line reviews we chose Le Dragon d'Or at Argentan, one of the closest towns to where we live. We were greeted at the door by the proprietor (I am assuming he was the proprietor) and made to feel welcome. However, the meal was disappointing. My pork was greasy and I had the impression that it had been cooked a few days before. My companion told me that her noodle dish was only borderline eatable. I was the driver. I asked if they served Diet Coke in bottles but I was told they only serve it in cans. Maybe it's just me, but if I'm being charged nearly 4 for a Coke in a restaurant, I want it to be served in a chilled glass bottle. My companion's glass of \vin rouge\ (no name given on the menu) was watery and of poor quality. A bit surprising in France, where you can buy a perfectly drinkable bottle of wine for a few euros in the supermarket. So, overall, a disappointment. We are both fans of Chinese food but we will not be going back to Le Dragon d'Or even though it is not far from where we live.

Lieu vraiment sympa. J'aime l'ambiance calme asiatique. Le personnel est sympathique, le patron est original et atypique. Le service entre chaque plat est long mais acceptable. Concernant la cuisine en elle même, nous avons eu le menu St Valentin qui était bon mais qui clairement, ne valait pas 30. Nous y retournerons afin de goûter d'autres spécialités asiatiques ! Le boeuf au saté est délicieux... À tester ! Au final, c'est un restaurant que je conseille.
Accueil synpathique, décors originaux, service rapide, repas excellent à base de produits frais. Très bon rapport qualité-prix.
Cuisine très bonne, tarif honnête, service super chaleureux et déco originale. Un restaurant au top !
