Yum yum yum. Best meal we’ve had for a while. Friendly and patient staff. The food was so much better than we expected with a fusion of flavours we don’t traditionally eat. They worked well together and we came out impressed. We stayed for dessert and were not disappointed. Pricing is on point with the quality.

My friend and I wanted a good quality restaurant with not just the usual food. If you like Brie cheese and potatoes you’re in luck. They have a melted circle of Brie and the best potatoes and a small side salad. It was everything a girl would want. 16 for the meal which I don’t think is too bad for these parts. I deff recommend this place for a nice meal. They have French and English menus. They do have them on pretty big boards that they bring out to you and rest on a chair. It’s fun tho.
In the northern part of Aix-en-Provence Jacques and Lionel run this small and quaint restaurant with tasty Corsican food, informal atmosphere and great music (very much classic rock). We went there several years ago after some international newspapers and websites wrote favourably about Le Contrepoint and its team. Since then we have become regular guests. We love their magret de canard and somewhat salty Corsican red wine. Not to miss!
Best burger I have ever had... seriously, I still wake up from dreaming about it. Excellent food, service and the wine is outstanding! Aux en Provence is an amazing town! I hope to visit and eat at Le Contrepoint again one day!

The best meal I had in my 4 week stay in France, and definitely in my top 3 best meals ever !! The quality was on par with any Michaeline restaurants I ate at, but the depth of flavor, creativity, and friendly staff made the experience unforgettable !!! I will return to Aix just to eat here again, and would recommend that anyone looking for the meal of a lifetime add le contrepoint to their list! Merci beaucoup, to the chefs and staff you guys are rockstars !!!!!!
