We have been here several times.. with local friends, friends from home or just on a romantic date. The owner is really nice and takes the time to explain and details all the dishes his wife cooks for the customers.. it's between the best restaurants in Paris and we keep it as a confirmed destination for a night out. The quality of the food and wine are over the top.

We grabbed a drink and a bite, everything was absolutely prefect, the food was tasty, drinks were pretty generous and the service out of this world. I'll definitely pay them another visit and would definitely recommend them for anyone who wants to have a taste of Paris. They are also located close to the quays, ideal for a day out wandering by the river side! Thanks the Chanard for the great time!

We were lucky to get a table on valentine's day after a cancellation on our weekend trip to Paris. Lovely small restaurant with great service. Food was delicious too!

2nd review: Apparently the main dishes and starters are seasonal. So they change most of the things every 3 months. The tuna (august) was spectacular, done with pavon blue instead of sesame. The tarte citron still pretty giod and the tarte au fraise was fresh and surprisingly light. Thr veal carpaccio was stellar. 1st review The starter of duck hearts were the big plus for me, the tempura of snails was unfortunately not good but that was the only bad part if the dinner. The tarte citron maison was spectacular! And I strongly recommend it. The chocalate sphere with mascarpone was also very good.

The good reviews are a mystery to me! My main course consisted of a small piece of veal with rice and carrots! Tasteless and prepared in a microwave quick time. Acceptable basic grub for one’s student days but for a Parisian restaurant....! The service was very good, but cannot compensate for the pitiful food. The pictures of the dishes represent a cogent fraud.

Unfortunately, not my favorite place as far as flavor of food. Atmosphere is nice as was the service. Both waiter/bartender and chef were very polite and delivered exceptional service.
