This was a great spot for lunch. There is both a fixed menu and a regular menu with a lot of regional specialties. The staff was very helpful and were very accommodating with our kids and our terrible French.

Great location right next to the cathedral. Good food, but slow service. The waitress told us 3 times bread was coming, but we're still waiting for it 4 days later. :)
Very happy we chose Le bistrot Sarlat! We arrived on le fête national to a very busy town and were able to get a table here. The staff was very attentive and everyone’s meals were excellent. Went out of their way to make us feel welcome in Sarlat.

It is open 3:00pm in the Sunday afternoon! Unbelievable! Very good duck and desert! Highly recommended.
The most amazing food, wine and service. Spectacular location just under the church bell tower. Always a wonderful atmosphere in Sarlat... Would recommend the foie gras then the low rib steak, medium/rare.
Ok food! Fish Tartar was really not good!
