I came here hoping for a lovely dinner and drink with my friend last night after work. We work in an medical office by the plaza hotel, but we’re dressed in normal winter clothes-nothing fancy. We are very nice women who are not arrogant or rude as we too work in the customer service field for very affluent and everyday people. We also give recommendations to our clients to support the local restaurants. The outdoor seating here was very nice and we were happy to see that there was only 1 table being occupied for dinner and everything was available. So it was interesting that we arrived around 5pm (early for dinner) and when we asked for a table for 2, the gentleman didn’t even make eye contact and said in a very pompous attitude that they had “there’s no availability for you.” He didn’t apologize, didn’t explain, he frankly seemed to not care at all or want to serve us. We were baffled. That has never happened to us and we ended up going across the street to Phillips Chow. The servers at Phillips Chow greeted us warmly and had phenomenal service and food. We ended up being grateful in the end that we were turned away for dinner, because we now have a favorite restaurant across the street! I do not recommend coming to this restaurant at all. The service was inexcusable. They could have just politely said they “were sorry, everything is booked as we have a big party coming” and we would have understood. That was not the case as they never were busy even though they told us they were. I honestly think this was judgement because we looked as though we were not very wealthy or going to spend a lot. We ended up spending a few hundred dollars and gave a very big tip at Phillip Chows.

Good place for a good business meeting with the guys you would like to impress. Food is good but your paying for the scene more than the food
The food here is out of this world. This restaurant is a shining star on the upper east side. Our experience was stellar from beginning to end. The staff were absolutely wonderful. Our waitress, Caroline, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and helpful with her suggestions, for both food and wine and she was one step ahead of all our needs. Just exquisite service. Outdoor and also limited indoor seating available. Everything is spaced out perfectly, and the staff adheres to all the new health guidelines. Felt extremely comfortable and safe. Hats off to the chef and their kitchen. It was a dinner I will not soon forget.
I often take my friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I visit this place often. This recommendation is always successful. The the food there is yummy and the crew is welcoming and cooperative. Whenever we visit this place we pass a pleasant time. warmly recommended.
Actually this place is super cute and everything we ordered was delicious. The only downside was the service that took forever even though we were almost the only ones there. If you are not in a hurry I definitely recommend this charming place. The design is beautiful and there are so many great options on the menu.
