Amazing tasting menu w good wine pairings. Excellent and friendly advice by Laurene and other waiters
like
Truly impeccable dishes and service. Each dish was balanced and excellently executed. It started with eel with grilled onions in onion bouillon. The soup is light and fragrant and of good use of various herbs. The second dish came the monk fish, absolutely good. It’s flavorful and light and with the veggies, it almost makes one feel here comes the spring. The main dish is the lamb perfectly cooked. It’s so tender and nicely accompanied with the gnocchis topped with seaweeds and macadamias. The first dessert was fruits with sorbet topped with Speculaas powder. It’s creative to use this Dutch flavor and would make the Dutches really proud. As expected, the main dessert is a multi texture chocolate box. Light and crispy meringue on the outside and crunchy chocolate the inside with some hint of caramel. To one’s surprise, comes the third dessert Paris Brest with pistachios and berry sauce with Sauternes, Delicate and a real spoil. Of course, the wine pairing was on the spot. It’s a lovely restaurant of creativity.
Excellent food and service. Tried the tasting menu which was 6 courses and varies on the season so you won't see the individual courses on the menu. The tasting menu provide dishes that had fried crusted sweetbread, crab with caviar and an artichoke dish to name a few. The hotel where the restaurant is located is very upmarket and they do have a dress code as I was advised no shorts or flip flops but jeans and trainers are accepted.
Très bien! My fiancé and I spent a romantic evening at this restaurant during our trip to Paris from The States. The meal was an incredible experience and tasted amazing! The staff was attentive and helpful, even with the language divide. We felt like we were the only guests in the entire restaurant. The sommelier was knowledgeable and able to communicate his insights in english clearly. It is an expensive restaurant, but in my opinion, the experience and flavor was well worth the price. Thank you, Le Baudelaire, for one of my favorite memories in Paris!
Pease come here before die.
