DELICIOUS THAI in a cute street of the old town in Nice. Not too many dishes which I always think is better than having too many. DELICIOUS Spring Roles! Will come back!
Super weird and rude staff. Very slow service like tortoise. Food was good that was the good part only.
Although known for their seafood dishes Le Banthai does some great vegetarian and vegan dishes. The restaurant is cosy inside with a couple of tables outside. The staff are friendly and inviting. An enjoyable lunch or dinner location.
Top notch Thai food w prices slightly on the higher end of things. The flavours are pretty good so it’s worth it. Tom Kah Guy was the best I’ve had in years. Service is friendly and chaotic.
Firstly it is hugely popular with tourists and locals alike. We had to wait out on the street to await our turn to get a table! Once we finally got a table the food was excellent. We both really enjoyed the meal. I'd say it's a little expensive but I suppose your paying for where you are. Could do with at least one extra waitress or waiter to speed up service.

We walk accross the city of Nice to get to this restaurant with my Thai girl friend and to enjoy a nice Thai dinner. We arrived and faced a very arrogant manager who told us to come back another day in a very unpleasant way. We left without asking for more attention from this uneducated man and I believe that he might have worried to see a real Thai guest seating and tasting a non real Thai food from what we could see on the various dishes. We are happy to fly back to Bangkok in two days. We will take off from this unfriendly and dangerous city from what we have heard around.
