Outstanding restaurant with super tasty local beef very rare breed, all you can eat homemade fries. This place embodies what very good French cuisine is all about. Staff is excellent and the location is perfect. I will return every time I come to Saumur.
Great staff, incredible food. Menu is very much quality over quantity in terms of selection ( there are only two mains to choose from). The beef was delicious alonside the rich butter sauce! Again, the staff were great and very helpful!
Excellent restaurant. The beef is superb. The desserts are also fantastic. Our waiter was so helpful and friendly. I definitely will be returning.
Very good. I like restaurants with good simple menu....the steak was really good but I have had better. Also it's asking a lot for one waiter (however good and personable) to look after the whole place. Some people were waiting quite a time for their orders to be taken. Surely with so little on the menu the veg could have been a little more Al dente?
Brilliant staff and such a nice mood
We really enjoyed the rump steak with the butter sauce. The server was friendly and entertaining. We went for the main meal and dessert option which was reasonably priced. The desserts were also very tasty. We didn’t take a starter, but the couple sitting next to us seemed to enjoy theirs. A nice little place for dinner.
Food was good, but the wait between the meals was endless. 3 hours in total for a little piece of beef and a plate of cheese. Also very expensive for what you get.
