So I've got a little bit of wood, a bit of green waste, some old clothing, a few bottles & cans - how many trips to the recycling centre is that?? four or five I make it - how environmentally friendly are all those separate car journeys? Surely it makes more sense to have a booked visit and fewer people using the centre...Blackburn with Darwen have the right idea.

Useless. Utterly useless. Trucks block the entrance and don't let anyone else passed. Staff not helpful. They're not open as long as they used to be. If their goal was to encourage less recycling and more fly tipping... They've achieved it. Council should be ashamed.
Useless council! Went to tip just now, car rammed full of garden waste. Shut!! How difficult is it to have a couple of staff to have the place open They're probably busy cleaning up after fly tippers :(
Don't help you sort out the rubbish
Great to just pop up and drop off your recycling, staff are friendly and are always happy to lend a hand

Good recycling centre, the staff are helpful and there is a good range of materials accepted.
