We had a wonderful stay for 8 days. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The staff is very friendly and polite. The rooms were always clean. One of the best things there is the breakfast. Never had such a good breakfast in Thailand. If I come back to Koh Chang I will definitely stay there again.

Lovely place! Friendly,nice owners! It’s not close from the beach if you prefer quiet place then great place to stay! You can get a taxi to nice nature beach to 50 baht! If I’ll go to Koh Chang again I’ll stay this place again!
Peaceful setting with new pool and rooftop bar
I haven't encountered this reliable and friendly staff in years. For our booking request, even late in the evening, they went above and beyond, to ensure that we would get our requested rooms. Our bungalows had great air-conditioning, and were cleaned daily. Fresh towels and sheets every morning and a litre of water in the fridge. Everyone was very helpful with any request we had or information we needed and we felt very welcome here. You have a 20 minute walk or 3 minute ride to the nearest village, which has many great food places to choose from. I can't wait to come back here.
The bungalows on the resort are well spaced and clean. Good aircon and shower warm (when required). They are located in Bailan Bay, which is a while from the pier where you arrive in Koh Chang, but 5 mins to Lonely Beach (50baht) and 10 mins to Bang Bao (70baht). For getting around Koh Chang in general, would definitely recommend getting a scooter. We cant ride so had to depend on the taxis. Most days, there was a taxi sitting across from Lazy which was handy and we never waited too long for one. Fred and Phillipe were great hosts and made us feel extremely welcome. They were knowledgeable about Koh Chang and ready to help when needed. On to my favourite part, breakfast! Fred cooks this amazing Cocotte (oven baked egg). I tried this the first day, then had it every day after that. So good!! We also had muesili which was full of fruit and delicious. Fred also makes Lazy Juice each day, which goes very well with gin :-) . Phillipe is learning some cocktails now that the rooftop bar is open, which will be nice to accompany the sunset. Overall, we loved Lazy Repiblique and will be back (especially for the Cocotte).

Everything was perfect, the resort is beautiful and the owners are lovely. The bungalows are really comfortable and spacious. You absolutely need to try the breakfast it’s delicious and homemade. I would recommend Lazy Republique 100%. Thanks you so much Fred and Pilou
