All I have been trying to do is get the money that is owed for my daughter. This office keeps giving me the run-around and adds more things they need me to do. Why can't you tell me everything that's wanted of me from the get go?

This place is the damn worst! These pictures are in the department of child support services. Where there is a play area with a light and phone socket right next to the seats. Luckily I found it before my niece stuck her finger in it. Get real. Not to mention clearly something has happened previously.

November 14, 2020 will be a year that I’ve had my child support case open. Since March 2020 my court date was rescheduled 3 times. On the scheduled court date 7/24/2020 the NCP was a no show and I was advised a Default Support Order would be submitted and once completed/signed I’ll receive a copy. I’ve now been waiting 3 months and counting for the judge on my case to sign the default order and submit it to DCSS so it can be enforced. I reach out to child support and all programs they have to offer assistance (SNAP, TANF, Medicaid) I don’t qualify for. I’m having a hard time finding supplemental employment that works around my current work schedule. I’m not sure what else I can do!

You will never get your child support with this agency...just give up now. Been 13 years and my baby daddy owes me 23k and nothing has been done ever. Just call it a loss.

I'll start on a positive. The security staff was very polite and helpful with telling me where to go on my first visit. it goes down from there. EVERYONE will treat you as if you are incompetent. I sign in and explain my situation to the front desk clerk. She attempts to explain why they are garnishing my unemployment. I have to go through everything again on why they should not since I have a court ordered payment plan already set up. I get the deer in headlights look. She gives me a number that they will call for someone to assist. The main point...there is absolutely NO ONE in the lobby. I literally wait 15 minutes for my number to be called., Near the end of this time, about 6 staff are walking out (quitting time). So basically, they sit in the back socializing the last 15 minutes opposed to helping out a 'customer'. In the end, it is a 'system/process' issue causing the garnishment. Nothing they can do about it. Just net my regular payment against the amount taken from my unemployment check and call it a day. And the explanation I received from the UI clerk on my payment plan is laughable. \The court system is not connected to the Child Support System.\ Huh?? Overall, the entire Federal/State system is broken and coming here is...well, counter-productive. Pathetic...
