I made a reservation and paid my 50 deposit. Due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to make it in time. I called Mr. Johnson to let him know and he wasn't willing to work with me so I could go in the same day. At the end of the day I just needed my marriage license signed, which is all some people need/want due to their specific situation. Mr. Johnson did offer to change it to another day and as \courtesy\ apply my deposit towards it because apparently if this is the case you lose your deposit too. He reiterated that it is clearly written on their reservation form if you don't make it too bad too sad. So my suggestion is if you are psychic or have connections to a higher power and have the ability to foresee the future save your 50. (thankfully I was able to find someone the same day to officiate my wedding) The Wedding Officiant, Victor J Alvarado he is prompt with replies and willing to work with any kind of situation.
