Pretty good! Enjoyed the ridiculously cheap prices during eat out to help out. The starters were delish; the mains over-seasoned. The risotto in particular was alight with pepper. The decor is pretty random - theyve clearly put a lot of thought into it but it doesn’t quite work IMO. It’s a lovely airy restaurant otherwise. Great to sit outside if poss.

Went to this place during eat out to help out. Food was very nice. We recommended it to a few people and booked it again for one of our birthdays. We booked a couple of weeks in advance for 7.30 on a Sunday evening. The place had our email and phone number. A day before we get an email asking us to confirm we are still planning on making our reservation, we said yes. On the day we arrive at 7.40, 10 minutes late. We were told (by presumably the owner - who wasn't wearing a mask) that they had sent all the staff home as there were no other customers and they assumed we were no longer coming. We were speechless, pathetic service. Granted we were late, but they had our number and could have called before sending everyone home. It is hardly our fault no one else was there. If they don't want to open on Sunday evenings don't allow people to book tables. Will never be going back and will be unrecommending the place to everyone we recommended it to.
Just been to Lavanta for the first time. The food was delicious lots of lovely flavours. The staff were friendly, helpfully and couldn't do more for you. Jamie the owners son was a credit to his parents. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Turkish food
Fantastic food. I ate off the specials menu but two of my party had the much talked of sea bass and raved about it. The vine leaves starter also went down a treat. Lovely ambience. Service was a little slow when it came to bringing our first drinks but after that it was perfectly pitched.
