It was quite crowded on our return. Neither on the way to Schiermonnikoog nor on the way back could we find a place to sit by the window to enjoy the view on the water. But I cannot blame the company for that; after 18 km walk on the island the day before, my legs were resisting my wish to rush into the boat and get the best seat

Same as ever. It brings you from Lauwersoog to Schiermonnikoog,and back. That's it.
No social distancing whatsoever during boarding abd leaving the boat. Nobody there to male sure people wear their masks and keep their distance during the sailing either. Not acceptable at all during a global pandemic with rising numbers in the Netherlands as well. I wish they found a way to employ additional security staff or so in order to protect vulnerable people and society in general.
The stuff was desinforming us in purpose about the Ferry times, so that we missed a ship that was exactly there ... next one was in two and a half hours ... there was not friendly to us because we were speaking English. Take to your attention.
