My husband and I rented a 1 bedroom apartment that was on the first floor of a historic house on Osprey. Fell in love with this property. It was nicely renovated and kept some of the old charms from the 1920s. The house was sold to a new owner while we were in it, so this review will reflect only this management. The rent was very fair for the location, enabling us to buy our very own historic house a year later. Our rent started Sept 2013 and ended Jan 2015. We left because we purchased a house. We did hear our neighbors a bit, but that is to be expected when living in a historic house. The renovations were smartly made because no one was right next to us. The owner made best use of the space. The hall and stairs separated us from the next door unit. The only time we heard neighbors was when they wallked upstairs or sat on the porch by our bedroom window. The only complaint I had was unfortunately the unit was very dirty when we moved in. I had to clean everything. The grounds were well maintained, although could have used a little more planning. But my husband is a Landscape Architect, so it's hard not to judge. Loved that we had a gravel parking lot behind the house. We never felt unsafe living here. It is perfectly located, just a 5 minute walk to main street where my husband works. Only once did we have a maintenance issue under the previous management and it was promptly taken care of. The owner was very nice and I just can't thank him enough for letting us live in the property while he owned it. There were other potential renters so we had to interview for it.
