This place is amazing, we have been on a number of occasions when we visit Keswick, Laura and staff are lovely, friendly greeting at the door, will give you a run Down on whats Available, and there are also boards outside with most of whats available, and there is lots of choice, and for anyone like me who is gluten free they have loads of choice and all fresh and home made, if you are in Keswick try this place and support them you will not be disappointed.

Have been here regularly over the years, and would usually rate 5 stars, however after a visit on Saturday afternoon and after being rather rudely spoken to by an elderly member of staff on a grotesque power trip. We were told that the table of four (with 4 chairs, that had seated the same 4 of us a few days prior without moving seats) we were sat at could only seat 3. I am now left embarrassed as I feel the need to backtrack to people I previously waxed lyrical about this establishment to. Politeness and manners usually cost nothing, your staffs lack of these have lost you regular customers.
Absolutely nasty man, I am exempt from wearing a mask, had my sunflower lanyard on and he said no, so took our business elsewhere to other lovely cafe's, But just on his attitude would never partake in this cafe again, would give no stars but it wouldn't let me.
Could not recommend this place highly enough.... absolutely amazing cheese scone with homemade delicious soup. Good portions of great quality food served by lovely, friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back
