Delicious place for sweet bread. Fluffy sweets come out of the oven early morning. A line forms around 7AM. Trays upon trays of warm treats are brought to the front display cases. My favorite, cherry turnovers.

I Really enjoyed this lil Cornet Bakery. They were very sure to have only 6 people at a time!(which tells me that they are very concerned w/ both their Customers & employees!) If they are that conscientious about their Customers, then they must be that Conscientious about their food! Here is a \20yrs Customers\ that I know personally, who is a Happy & Faithful Customers & who continues to share this corner Bakery with All his best of friends!! This smile says it all!! Thank for your service!
Wonderful bakery. So many delicious varieties. I like to try a new treat everytime I visit. I live in Millstadt, Illinois. We heard about this bakery from the tourist center. So glad we stopped by & we will be back.

Wow!! First time visiting Lara's Bakery and I was amazed by all the options of sweet bread to choose from and it was delicious! My kids loved it!! Thank you Peter Lara for taking me to your favorite bakery!! We are definitely going back!! Highly recommend it!!
