Wonderful place, loved reindeer sateet
What's an awesome place! Cozy atmosphere, original and tasty cuisine. The place accepts reservation, so I'd suggest to book a table in advance :) Here you can experience a lot of Lapland's dishes, some drinks and have tasty and good-looking desserts. Highly recommended to try this kind of food.
Traditionally inspired Lapland restaurant. Place feels like a wood cabin with themed decoration and warm vibe. The reindeer was very tender and the dessert was very exquisite and creative. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone with only a few days in Helsinki and wanting to try local food.
Excellent restaurant. Typical dishes from Lapland. I had a spectacular boiled reindeer extremely tender and tasty over a bed of cabbage and mash potatoes. Dessert was grilled cheese in a cinnamon sauce and local berry jam. The jam was just a bit too cold contrasting too much with the grilled cheese but the taste was wonderful. Recommended! Nice staff. Prices are moderate.
Top notch food in a lovely venue. Tried varied dishes ranging from reindeer to salmon to carpaccio. Everything very well prepared provided by great service. Drink selection also quite nice. Highly recommended.
Be immersed in a Lapland log cabin! The atmosphere is immediately welcoming and relaxing. The food is great, showing off Lappish (if that's a word) ingredients and cooking methods. Starters are smart. Mains necessarily more substantial. The service was friendly and with excellent English. I'd definitely recommend this as part of a visit to Helsinki.
