A wonderful place to spend a day out with the family, and the grandparents enjoyed it as much as the little ones! We arrived at 10.30am (this was during the school summer holiday) and had no problem purchasing tickets at the office. It was busy and there was a long queue to get on our train at 11am but the train was able to seat everyone. The kids loved riding on the miniature steam trains. At the other end there was a large playground with sandpits and diggers. There was a large play equipment area with a long tunnel slide. There is crazy golf and swan boats to ride in. There is a small cafe and toilets with an indoor eating area and outdoor picnic benches. The cafe serves sandwiches/rolls, sausage rolls, pasties, cakes and hot/cold drinks. There is also a woodland walk and at the end there is another playground but there is a miniature train that also takes this route. There were plenty of hand sanitiser at each activity and the staff cleaned down the train seats and handles after each use. The staff were friendly, especially the train drivers who were very smiley and waved to all children.

Fantastic day out with my daughter. They have more than enough to keep busy for 4 hours or so. There are enough efforts taken to ensure kids can enjoy with social distancing. The staff are super friendly and helpful as well. This place is well worth the money they charge!
We had a fantastic time taking our children to see Father Christmas at Lappa Valley today. It was absolutely wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, limited numbers meant social distancing was so easy you could just focus on having a lovely time. Plenty of things to do - perfect for our 2 and 5 year olds. Father Christmas was great - had a lovely chat - not rushed at all and great presents for the children. The mulled wine and mince pies were perfect too! Would definitely recommend and can't wait to visit again.
Lappa Valley is a lovely family day out. My 3yo son loves the trains and the staff are always polite and friendly. My car also broke down so I went back to get it in the evening and one of the staff members called Lee came out to see if he could help and was super helpful. Great place to visit
