The museum in housed in a 15th century Venetian building containing many store works remaining from the Middle Ages, including coast of arms, marble works, sarcophagus and columns. A unique, magnificent stone window now stand opposite the entrance gate having been brought from the lusignan palace in the sarayonu quarter, which was destroyed in the british colonian period.
