Awesome place. Was attracted by the choice and portions size of the food. Quality was spot on. Good local ingredients, the value for money was brilliant. I had the beast burger. I'm a big eater and i only just managed it. Wife had cod and chips and she said it was brillaint. Proper size drinks, wife had gin and lemonade, came with lemon and 4or 5 raspberries and ice in a huge glass. She had aroound 6 of them. Only live 15mins away and never knew it was there. Service was brillaint and they dealt with the restrictions well. They were attentive without being annoying. Left a large tip as they worked really hard. Will definitely be returning!

Great Sunday roast on our way back home. Loved the nut roast. Staff were friendly. Very efficient whilst social distancing

Always really friendly service and great value and absolutely love the beer garden. Ordered a take away during the first lockdown and it was superb as well and the delivery fee was very reasonable

Stopped here after a day out in Truro as we seen good reviews for food, well the only good thing was the staff were friendly, the gravy was more like a thick peppercorn sauce with a layer of skin on it! I complained about the Yorkshire pudding as it was as hard as a rock clearly burnt as it just turned to dust when trying to cut it only for them to replace it with 2 more exactly the same if not worse,I’m not sure if this is how they actually make them or they were just having an off day but we were so disappointed
